As a local charity, helping local communities, we rely not only on local authorities to continue our funding, but on national grant and trust awarding bodies to help us raise funds. We also look to the local community to help support the work we do. As a registered charity, Anglia Care Trust is totally reliant on funding to continue the work that we do. In the present economic climate, the demand for our services is ever increasing and we believe this trend will continue for the next few years at least. With funding from local authorities and national trust and grant-awarding bodies, we run many of our services; however, we are always looking to raise funds to enable us to expand our services, and also to enhance the support that we provide to our service users. We have an Empowerment Fund, funded purely by donations, for ad hoc expenses that cannot be covered by loans and grants. Our Empowerment Fund provides money for things like: * Travel and clothing allowances for interviews for our unemployed service users * Furniture for those people that we house * Clothing and toys for families that have fled their homes for whatever reason There are many ways you can help to support us financially as well: - You can make a one off donation - You can set up a regular payment to us - You can fundraise on our behalf – for any event you take part in. We would be delighted if you would raise funds by setting up a localgiving page – see below

Leaving a gift to Anglia Care Trust in your will is something that you can do to ensure that our services continue; helping us to reduce crime and anti social behaviour and support vulnerable people in the future. If you don’t already have a will, it is a good idea to consult a solicitor who can help you ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death. Remembering a charity in your will is also an efficient way of giving: because charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax, all of your gift to Anglia Care Trust will go towards supporting our work.
